Who We Are
BEDO Inc. North America is a 501(c)3 charitable organization based in Maryland, USA, established in 2004. BEDO Inc. is an embodiment of collectively changing outcomes with a vision to support and serve the educational, socio-economic, healthcare, and community empowerment needs of the underprivileged Besongabang community in the Manyu Division, South West Region of Cameroon. In addition to providing these resources and improving the lives of the Besongabang community, we have embarked on the continued expansion of the Besongabang community in North America (USA/Canada) and all across the globe.
What We Do
We serve the vulnerable, underserved Besongabang community in the Republic of Cameroon through community social programs to improve their quality of life. Driven by a strong desire to unite all sons, daughters, affiliates, supporters, and well-wishers resident in the United States of America and Canada, BEDO Inc. is primarily engaged in the promotion of the general welfare, securing the posterity and conservation of our heritage and resources.
Our Mission
- To promote, strengthen and advance the socio-economic, cultural & educational development with fraternity and mutual respect within the Besongabang community.
- To collectively support and develop an intellectual and civic responsibility for fairness, equality, and social justice and provide basic health and welfare needs to the Besongabang community.
- To educate and sensitize all kin, kindred, youths, and parents living in Besongabang and beyond to safeguard a unified and strong community for the purpose of resolving differences, moving beyond past conflicts, and working for the preservation of peace.
